Install and check correct Path of Presets, Plugins and Manuals
Check the Install progress (Vers.No; Logos; Paths; Product Description)
Check individual creatable Bundles, Formats and other Backend issues within Installation Manager

Check the Install progress (Vers.No!; Logos; Paths; Product Description)
Check the product and licenser versions in all relevant parts. Validate that the product version has been increased in the following places according to the product update information provided by the PO.
Installers
Plugin info (at BX)
Manual (if applicable)
Splash screen or plugin screen
Registry (please see 'Location within the Registry' in BXRegistrar: Licenser registration technology)
Check the 'wrenchtool' splashscreen and see if all numbers are right (build number, framework version, licenser version)
Plugin Testing
Open all Plugin-Formats in the DAWs specified in the DAW list (see below) on the latest released Windows and MacOS version and perform steps 2-5 unless stated otherwise. For Mac OS please do these tests also on a M1 machine in Rosetta and Native modes.
Check that the Plugin processes audio & Automation works
listen to audio (do not use sine wave) and make sure it is not broken, but is processed
set track to touch mode, activate parameters for automation, loop a small section and skip through presets till most parameters move (stress test)
Check the GUI (UI Functionality and optical errors; Plugin-Toolbar) once per platform
Licenser functionality (Correct query; only one activation method required)
The Plugin should create silence without any license
Check the PA-Toolbar (Manual; Licensing; Links (PA, check product page URL...))
3rd Party Products
Check correct Path of Presets, Plugins and Manuals
Check the Install progress (Vers.No; Logos; Pathes; Product Discription)
Check Bundles, Formats and other Backend issues. For Product Updates
Check the product version in all relevant parts. Validate that the product version has been increased in the following places according to the product update information provided by the PO.

Registry (please see 'Location within the Registry' in BXRegistrar: Licenser registration technology)
Open all Plugin-Formats in the DAWs specified in the DAW list (see below) on the latest released Windows and MacOS version and perform steps 2-5 unless stated otherwise. For Mac OS please do these tests also on a M1 machine in Rosetta and Native modes. Additionally, just open the plugin on the oldest supported macOS version which is currently MacOS 10.9.5.
Check that the Plugin process audio
Check that every parameter does what it should
Check the range and illustrated values
Check the GUI (Functionality and optical errors)
Check special features like resizing the GUI
Licenser functionality (Correct query)
Automation (Parameterlist)
Check the Touch, Latch and Write mode in every format.
Check the Toolbar (Manual; Licensing; Links...)
Check the PA-Toolbar (Copy/Paste, Undo, ABCD...)
The Plugin should create silence without any license.
